The engineering team has packed the initial release of Avanta with intrusion verification features and functionality the industry has been seeking. During a recent online demo an end user exclaimed, "You've already sold me. You've hit the end-user need exactly!"

The Vigilos sales team is swamped with meeting and demo requests from ISC. The company engages a real-time communications infrastructure company to host online meetings and demonstrations for dealers and end users.
April 2001
Vigilos formally launches the company at International Security Conference & Expo in Las Vegas; the need to integrate security information is reaffirmed from dealers and end users frequently. Over 1,500 attendees visit the booth and see the product, Avanta. Paul Talley presents a "hybrid ASP" model for the security industry at the conference.

The Company has filed eight new patent applications for its core technology; the patent portfolio now contains 11 pending applications!

Feburary 2001
Vigilos generates more buzz in the security industry. Key meetings at February the Barnes-Buchanan conference and Security Industry Association affirm the need for a solution to integrate disparate and geographically-disperse systems. Vigilos management repeatedly hears, "We've needed a product like yours" from dealers, consultants, and end users."
December 2000
Vigilos has completed three patent applications and employees nearly 30 employees. The company is bursting at the seams and is planning a move to larger offices.
November 2000
Paul Talley, EVP Sales & Marketing joins 150 other industry captains at the 5th annual Securing New Ground Conference. Speaker after speaker emphasized the importance of leveraging new technology and making it easier to provide integrated solutions.
March 2000
Geof Barker incorporates Vigilos, Inc. with first employees, Doug Gorder and Liem Bahneman. Their goal is to find a way to effectively utilize data generated from security systems so that the information is more useable and accessible throughout the organization.
