Vigilos Shows How to Make Building, Employees, and Infrastructure More Secure Oracle World Conference

Vigilos part of the Dell-sponsored Oracle Security Command Center for innovative solutions for enterprise and homeland security

Vigilos was invited to participate in the security command center demonstration because Vigilos selected Oracle 9i for its enterprise data warehouse.

Unlike other software solutions in the physical security industry, Vigilos software runs on industry-standard, non-proprietary hardware. The patent-pending architecture uses a robust distributed database that enables clients to easily develop real-time rules to monitor their facilities for high-risk activity, without the high costs and lack of flexibility associated with custom software.

Its clients are using the Vigilos solution to create a software-based command-and-control environment, to deploy a remote video and alarm management system, and to reduce transactional errors in a point-of-sale (POS) system. One of its clients, a regional financial services company, expects to save $2 million annually by centralizing security operations at multiple remote facilities with the Vigilos solution.
