Vigilos and IntelliVision Integrate to Help Customers
Reduce Cost, Improve Security
SEATTLE, Washington, 3-April-2006 --
Vigilos, the leading provider of Enterprise Security Management
(ESM) software for physical security, and IntelliVision,
a pioneer in delivering Intelligent Video products for
security, surveillance and safety markets, today announced
the successful completion of a software integration of
the two companies products.
"Our rules-based system filters information
from disparate security systems so customers can automate
responses as well as prioritize and focus their resources
on true security events. Our partnership with IntelliVision
will help customers simultaneously reduce operating costs
and enhance their security posture, as the IntelliVision
system constantly monitors cameras to watch for loiterers,
wrong-way traffic, and many other possible security policy
violations, then 'feeds' the Vigilos ESM platform with
this rich information about the activity in their facilities," said
Geof Barker, CEO of Vigilos.
"The market is demanding well-integrated
products and solutions. Coupling our video intelligence
with the enterprise capabilities of Vigilos dramatically
expands the value of both products to our common customers," remarked

For now, each company will offer its products
independently, with an option to integrate. The companies
have indicated that they are in discussions regarding a
product bundle that will result in the option to license
and deploy the two products together.
