Former Senator Slade Gorton Joins Vigilos Board of
Directors
SEATTLE, Washington, 7-March, 2005 --
Vigilos, the leading provider of Enterprise Security
Management (ESM) software for the physical security needs
of large enterprises, is pleased to announce that former
U.S. Senator Slade Gorton has joined its Board of Directors.
Senator Gorton was most recently a Commissioner on the
National Commission on Terrorist Attacks upon the United
States (.9-11 Commission.). He is currently Of Counsel
at the law firm of Preston Gates & Ellis LLP.
Senator Gorton has a long history of public
service. In addition to representing the State of Washington
in the United States Senate for 18 years, where he served
on the Appropriations, Budget, Commerce, Science and
Transportation, and Energy and Natural Resources Committees.
He previously served as Attorney General for Washington
State, and on the President's Consumer Advisory Council
(1975-77), the Washington State Criminal Justice Training
Commission ), the National Commission on Federal
Election Reform (2001), and as chairman of the Washington
State Law & Justice Commission (1969-76). Senator Gorton
also served in the U.S. Army, U.S. Air Force, and the
U.S. Air Force Reserves.

Senator Gorton joins the Vigilos Board
of Directors, which also includes Barker, Steve Clifford,

Patrick Steele, former CIO of Albertsons and current
CIO of the Delta Dental organization, Mark Koulogeorge
of MK Capital, and Mark Mecham of Northwest Venture Associates.
