Bruce Alexander, Vice President of Engineering

Bruce Alexander joined Vigilos following more than 15 years managing a vast array of complex and highly-integrated systems and networks for large companies and institutions, including EDS and the University of Washington. Prior to Vigilos, he was co-founder and Chief Technical Officer at iSumbra, Inc., an IT consulting company. Bruce also served as Regional Vice President of Operations for a West coast consulting firm, J.A. Young and Company. He has managed the design, construction, testing and implementation of multiple systems, including a networked, multi-user artificial intelligence tool that used neural networks and genetic algorithms to classify bills of lading and a distributed network operating system for hand-held computing devices using a wireless network.
